Samaa Wakim and Samar Haddad King in conversation with Daniela Nicolò, Enrico Casagrande and Paola Granato.
This dialogue stems from the words used by the choreographer while introducing the performance Losing It, which will be presented the following day on the Galli Theatre stage. A meeting among artists – and open to all participants – addressing the complexity of artistic practices in relation to the changing political and social climate of their countries. In the case of Samaa Wakim and Samar Haddad King, we will delve into how the context in which a person grows up influences their way of making art and what it means to be an artist in a conflict zone.
