The Motus Colombia Tour Project is structured around a series of performances, residencies, and training sessions that reflect the artistic journey of the company, presented for the first time in Colombia.
The project was born out of a collaboration with Colombian artist Susana Botero Santos, a member of the collective Vecinas Chicoteras, and has taken shape thanks to the support of its partner organizations: ATER Fondazione, Centro Nacional de las Artes Delia Zapata Olivella y Red Nacional de Teatros del Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y los Saberes de Colombia, IIC – Italian Cultural Institute of Bogotá, Fundación Teatro Santander, Facultad de Artes y Humanidades – Universidad de Los Andes, Asilo Bar, Instituto Municipal de Cultura y Turismo del Socorro, Fundación Hacienda Morros, e Secretaría de Turismo y Cultura de la Gobernación del Amazonas
One of the main goals of the Motus Colombia Tour Project is to reduce cultural inequalities between major cities and more remote regions by decentralizing cultural spaces and strengthening creative dynamics throughout the country.
This initiative stems from the need to ensure that culture is a right accessible to all citizens, regardless of their geographic location.
