Dancer and choreographer Fabritia D’Intino and performer and sound artist Agnese Banti meet for the first time in a shared creation at the invitation of the BoNo! network.
The work is born from the convergence of their respective artistic discourses and activates a reflection on the present through the use of sound archives and choreographic practices. The process, informed by the mutual discovery of postures, contents, and identities, starts from the analysis of iconic figures from the world of music, politics, and religion, working around the idea of the mythologization of individuals and the glorification of their actions. The performance navigates the contradictions and shadows of idolatry mechanisms in the contemporary West, in a space where roles and forms are in constant transformation.

Bio

Fabritia D’Intino is a choreographer and dancer. Her research primarily questions the gaze, the body, and representations. Her works, often in collaboration with other artists, have been awarded and presented in various international contexts. Beyond creation for the stage and site-specific work, she develops participatory projects, research formats, and collaborates as a dancer with various artists.

Agnese Delia Banti is a sound artist, performer, and overtone singer. Her articulated and multidisciplinary research focuses on: spatial composition, vocal sound, soundscape studies, gesture-sound relationship, traditional music repertoires, and the collaborative dimension of the creative process.
