Manfred is the eco-drama of our existence, the spirit of our times, humanity bitten by itself, staggering in a storm of mournful howls against the backdrop of a looming apocalypse. It is a visual soundscape that crashes us into a post-romantic mal du siècle, wrapped in a heavily darkening halo of darkness, distressing frequencies and metallic clangours, pierced by melancholic melodies that imprint ancient memories of beauty.

Bio

Madalena Reversa is an art project created in 2016 by Maria Alterno and Richard Pareschi that blends theater, visual arts, performance and installations.
STATEMENT
The emotional power of a light, of a sound, of an object, of a body on stage have always attracted our attention in the theatre more than others. Our creations have the will to create, through a calculated combination of generating elements (lights, sounds, design), atmospheres that release a specific emotion. Our creations are located in an opaque zone between theatre and visual arts, between performance and installation, where the only unavoidable element is dramaturgy.
