FRANCESCO MARILUNGO

h. 21:00
Teatro Galli – Palco
Stuporosa originates from a reflection on mourning and the loss of its collective dimension.
The five figures on stage evoke the cultural and relational aspect of mourning, the search for a rituality made of mutual aid, ancient magic spells and traditional dances. At the same time, they highlight a time gap accentuated by the 19th-century traditional costumes the performers are wearing.
Weeping takes on various nuances, now restrained, now stifled, now turned into music or song, tracing the sounds of ancient funeral laments from the Salento region.
The music, composed by Vera Di Lecce, investigates the obsessive mechanisms of repetition to connect with the figures on stage, both guiding them and being guided by them.
