A name as difficult to pronounce as the existence of love in an impossible world. A name that arrives to destroy the author’s West.
Initially, the project was meant to serve to save a man who was in a vulnerable situation and for that man to save Marina Otero herself from loneliness.
I went to Tangier (Morocco) to find him, marry him, give him my Euro-Latin documents, and create a new work from all this. But then Ayoub appeared, and the project collapsed. His name (“the one who returns” or “the one who repents”) is very common in Islamic countries: 115 children bearing this name have been killed by the Zionist state of Israel in the Gaza Strip. To those dead, I give your name to this work that speaks of you, of colonialism, of Palestine. And of everything I want to kill within myself.
